Reported Stabbing at The Dog House Restaurant and Bar: Two Men Arrested

At around 2:12am, Saturday 2nd November, 2019, police responded to calls about a reported disturbance at The Dog House bar on Front Street in the City of Hamilton.

Upon arrival, officers found a man with what appeared to be stab wounds, in the car park opposite the club.

He was transported to the King Edward the Seventh Memorial Hospital via private car, but refused treatment for his injuries.

Around 5:15pm Sunday, October 6th police received a report of a stabbing.

Details remain limited at this time.

However, early information indicates that an altercation took place between several men in the Cricket Lane, Sandys parish area – in the vicinity of Somerset Cricket Club.

Four Men Arrested in Connection With Confirmed Firearm Incident

Detectives continue to investigate a confirmed firearm incident that occurred around 9:50pm Saturday, September 14th on Court Street in the City of Hamilton, near the junction with Elliot Street – where a lone gunman is understood to have opened fire at a group of men outside Spinning Wheel entertainment complex before fleeing the area.

There were no reported injuries and the scene has been processed by the relevant police personnel.

18 Year Old Woman Stabbed After Dispute Near Horseshoe Bay Beach [Updated]

Around 12:30am Sunday, August 25th police and fellow first responders were dispatched to a reported assault.

It appears that an 18 year old year old Devonshire woman was at the Rum Bum Beach Bar, Horseshoe Bay beach, Southampton with friends when she was involved in a dispute with another young woman.

Renewed Warning to Residents: Remain Vigilant Regarding Scams

The Bermuda Police Service is once again reminding residents to rema vigilant regarding phone calls, e-mails and other correspondence from unknown persons that attempt to obtain personal information and other sensitive data.

One recent example is a telephone scam featuring an automated voice recording, apparently from a U.S. prison, which prompts the person to accept the call by pressing a specific number.

Upcoming Road Sobriety Checkpoints in Eight Parishes: August 1st – 4th

The Bermuda Police Service would like to advise the public that the next series of road sobriety checkpoints (as specified in the Official Gazette Notice Wednesday, July 24th) will be conducted throughout Cup Match holiday weekend, starting Thursday, August 1st.

The checkpoints will be in effect in St. George’s, Hamilton parish, Smith’s parish, Devonshire, Pembroke, Paget, Warwick and Southampton on Thursday, August 1st, Friday, August 2nd, Saturday, August 3rd and Sunday, August 4th.

Two Cars Collide on South Road in Paget: Both Drivers Hurt, One Arrested

Around 2:40am Sunday, July 14th police, Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service and ambulance personnel responded to a two car collision on South Road in Paget, between the Botanical Gardens and Tee Street.

It appears that the two cars involved were being driven in opposite directions along South Road near the junction with Happy Talk Lane when they collided.

Witness Appeal: South Road, Warwick Car Crash Friday Night

Around 11:45pm Friday, June 28th police officers responded to a reported single vehicle car crash on South Road in Warwick, near the junction with Warwick Lane.

On arrival, a damaged and unoccupied white Toyota RAV4 was found parked on the grass verge of South Road, in the vicinity of Astwood Park.

Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Crow Lane Crash Early Sunday [Updated]

Around 2:45am Sunday, June 23rd a reported single vehicle motorcycle crash occurred on Crow Lane in Pembroke in the vicinity of the north round-a-bout.

Details are still emerging. However, it appears that the 22 year old male motorcyclist involved was traveling out of the City of Hamilton along Crow Lane when he struck the kerb near Corkscrew Hill.

Reported Serious Two Vehicle Collision in Smith’s Parish Early Sunday [Updated]

Around 3:30am Sunday, June 9th police and fellow first responders were dispatched to a reported serious two vehicle collision in the Harrington Sound Road, Town Hill Road Smith’s parish area.

Details are still emerging. However, it appears that a taxi and a motorcyclist with a pillion passenger were travelling in opposite directions along Harrington Sound Road when the collision occurred.
