Around 3:45am on Sunday, February 19th police and first responders attended a reported single vehicle auxiliary cycle crash on South Road in Devonshire, near the junction with Brighton Hill Road.
It appears that the rider, a 32 year old Devonshire woman, struck a wall and sustained facial injuries which were not serious. She was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving.
Around 5:30pm on Sunday, February 12th police received a report of a single vehicle car crash on South Road in Warwick in the vicinity of Astwood Park.
It appears that a car was being driven in a westerly direction when it collided with a utility pole.
Apparently the driver, believed to be a 31 year old Warwick man as well as his passengers, believed to be an adult female and a child, escaped serious injury.
Around 2:30pm on Sunday, February 5th police and first responders were dispatched to a report of an unresponsive male at a Longford Road, Warwick residence.
EMTs performed CPR on the 48 year old man at the scene and then transported him via ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Around 4:45am today (Saturday, January 7th) police officers and Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service personnel responded to a report of an overturned car along St. David's Road in St. George's.
Details remain limited. However, it appears that the car was found unoccupied and partially submerged in waters near the roadside.
The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 68 year old Wilton Woolridge and extends condolences to his family and friends.
Mr. Woolridge was discovered in an unresponsive state inside a St. Mary’s Road, Warwick apartment around 1:30pm Friday, December 2nd.
He was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene by an on call doctor at 2:25pm that day.
Around 6:50pm on Friday, November 25th police and first responders were dispatched to a reported two vehicle collision on South Road in Paget, near the junction with Honey Hill.
It now appears that two male motorcyclists riding in opposite directions collided.
Both were injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment.
Around 11:25am on Sunday, November 13th police and first responders were dispatched to a reported assault in the Long Bay Lane / Daniel’s Head Sandys parish area.
Details are limited at this time.
However, it appears that a 71 year old Sandys parish man sustained lacerations to his face and head after being assaulted by an unknown man with a crash helmet.
At last check 6:30am today (Sunday, November 6th) the rider seriously injured in a single vehicle crash around 12:15am Sunday on Mullet Bay Road in St. George’s – believed to be a 49 year old male guest worker – was in stable condition at the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit. He was actually riding an auxiliary cycle at the time of the incident.
And the 28 year old Hamilton parish man seriously injured in Friday night’s single vehicle motorcycle crash around 10pm on North Shore Road in Smith’s parish near the junction with Jennings Road remained in stable condition at the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.
At last check (7:20am Sunday, October 30th) the 62 year old Warwick man seriously injured when the auxiliary cycle he was riding collided with a car on Marsh Folly Road in Pembroke around 8:53pm Friday, October 28th was in critical condition at the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.
The Warwick man was initially believed to have been riding a motorcycle.
Around 1:40pm on Sunday, October 23rd police and first responders were dispatched to a reported domestic incident at a Devon Spring Road, Devonshire residence.
Details are limited at this time. However, it appears that an altercation occurred between an adult brother and sister.
The brother, a 40 year old Devonshire man, apparently brandished a bladed article and injured his sister, a 44 year old Devonshire woman.
