Breaking & Entering

Around 5:50 this morning, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a Second Avenue, Devonshire residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainants who stated that sometime around 5:15am an unknown culprit gained entry into their home. When confronted by the male complainant, the female culprit claimed her car had broken down and she entered the home to phone a taxi.

Fatal RTC

Around 9:45pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported serious road traffic collision on Middle Road in Southampton near the junction with Tribe Road #3, involving a van and a motorcycle. It appears that the van was traveling west with the motorcycle also traveling in the same direction behind the van.

Fatal RTC

The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 20 year old Samuel Fubler of Sandy's parish. Mr. Fubler suffered fatal injuries after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a van and then a wall on Middle Road in Southampton around 9:45pm on Wednesday.

At 6:15 this morning, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a Highwood Lane, Paget residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainants who stated that around 6am they were awoken by noises in their bedroom. They then saw an unknown man at the foot of the bed. The culprit grabbed a red ladies bag and made good his escape.

Around 7 this morning, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a Middle Road, Southampton residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainants who stated that sometime between 11:15pm on Monday and 6:30am today, an unknown culprit gained entry into their home.

Handbag Snatch

At 8:40pm on Sunday, Police attended a reported handbag snatch from a St. George's guest property. On arrival officers spoke with the complainants who are visitors to the island. They stated that earlier they were walking towards their accommodation when two young men approached from behind.

Impaired Driving

Sat, 2006-03-18

At 10 this morning, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision on Middle Road in Smith's parish near the junction with Clarendon Road. It appears that a blue Subaru car was traveling east on Middle Road when the driver lost control and collided with a utility pole.
