The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 45 year old Alvin Flood of St. George's. Mr. Flood was fatally injured after a three vehicle collision on Saturday morning in Hamilton parish. At 8:50am on Saturday, Police attended a fatal road traffic collision on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish near the junction with Radnor Road, involving a motorcycle, a car and a truck.
At 7:10pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on Crow Lane in Pembroke. It appears that a motorcycle was traveling west on Crow Lane when the rider, a 37 year old Sandy's parish man lost control, clipped the sidewalk and collided with a tree. The Sandy's parish man sustained facial injuries and was taken to KEMH for treatment.
At 1:10 this morning, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a Middle Road, Paget residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainants who stated that sometime between 8:45am and 11:30pm on Wednesday, an unknown culprit gained entry into their home. The culprit stole several items of jewelry. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Around 10:25pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported robbery on Blue Hole Hill in Hamilton parish. On arrival officers spoke with the victim, a 22 year old St. George's man, who stated that around 10:05pm he was riding his charcoal coloured Honda Scoopy license #614 AD east on North Shore Road when he noticed three men riding motorcycles following him.
At 7:40pm on Monday, Police received a report of a robbery on Slip Point Lane in St. George's. The victim, a 34 year old Pembroke man who works for The Uppercrust Restaurant, stated that around 7:20pm he was riding his motorcycle along Slip Point Lane making a delivery when he was stopped by an unknown man, who appeared to be the intended recipient of the food.
Around 7:15pm on Sunday, Police attended a reported single vehicle damage only road traffic collision on Crow Lane in Pembroke, near the East Broadway Shell Service Station. It appears that around 7pm a silver Renault was traveling east on Crow Lane when the driver, a 47 year old Southampton man, lost control and collided with a utility pole.
At 3:35pm on Saturday, Police attended a reported theft from an unattended vehicle parked outside Standard Hardware on Bakery Lane in Pembroke. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 3:15pm and 3:25pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into the van while he was inside the store. The culprit stole a green & black Makita jack hammer.
