Sudden Death

At 2:25pm today, Police received a report of a sudden death at John Smith's Bay in Smith's parish. Details about the incident are unclear; however the victim, a 53 year old male visitor to the island, was rushed to KEMH via ambulance from the beach area in an unresponsive state and subsequently pronounced dead at 3:08pm by an on call physician. However, there are no suspicious circumstances. No further information will be released until the next of kin have been notified.

Burglary

At 8:20 this morning, Police received a report of a burglary at a Third Avenue, Warwick residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 10pm on Monday and 8am on Tuesday, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home. The culprit stole a quantity of cash and a silver Suzuki Vitara jeep. The vehicle was subsequently recovered. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
