Traffic Advisory: Delays Due to Southampton Collision [Updated]

There are currently traffic delays along a section of Middle Road, Southampton in the vicinity of Five Star Island, due to a reported two vehicle collision. Initial information suggests that a van and a large truck were involved.
Apparently the collision resulted in non-life threatening injuries. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and to take alternate routes if possible. More details will be provided as they become available.

Motorists are advised that currently portable offices are being moved from outside King Edward VII Memorial Hospital to Morgan’s Point primarily along South Road, apparently by tractor trailer. As a result, significant traffic delays have been reported along that section of South Road.
Therefore it is recommended that road users traveling to the western parishes from the central area use Middle Road instead. In addition, the motoring public is encouraged to exercise extra caution if they encounter the portable offices in transit.
Traffic Advisory: Two Vehicle Collision on Harbour Road

Motorists are advised that until further notice a section of Harbour Road in Paget has been cordoned off, with traffic diversions in effect at Chapel Road, Stowe Hill and the north round-a-bout off Crow Lane due to a two car collision near the junction with Lovers Lane that occurred around 3:50pm. The drivers of the two vehicles involved were injured; however their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Update: Traffic flow along Harbour Road has since returned to normal. Inquiries into this collision are ongoing.
Traffic Advisory: Overhanging Tree on Harbour Road [Updated]

Motorists are advised to use extra caution traveling along Harbour Road in the vicinity of Burnt House Hill Drive due to an overhanging tree. The tree is apparently located on a blind bend and therefore the cooperation of the motoring public is encouraged until further notice. Works & Engineering has been made aware of the issue and an update will be provided when the situation has been rectified. Update: The overhanging tree has been cleared and traffic can now travel safely along Harbour Road, Warwick in the area of Burnt House Hill Drive.
Devonshire Motorists Urged to Use Caution Due to Reported Fuel Spill

Motorists should use caution driving or riding in the Parsons Road, Middle Road and Brighton Hill, Devonshire areas due to a reported fuel spill from a tractor trailer along the roadway.
Works & Engineering have been informed and a work crew are currently addressing the issue.
Partial Road Closure Due to Utility Pole Replacement

The motoring public is advised that there will be a partial road closure on Middle Road in Warwick between Tamarind Vale and Burnt House Hill as BELCO workers replace a utility pole as a result of a pole fire. Expect traffic diversions in the area. Workers are expecting the process to take approximately an hour.
Traffic Diversion Due to Collision [Updated]

Police responded to a report of a road traffic collision that took place around 10:15am on North Shore Road in Devonshire, approximately 200 metres east of Barkers Hill.
It appears that a car was being driven along North Shore Road when it collided with roadside barriers and went down an embankment.
Traffic Advisory: Palmetto Road Area

The motoring public is advised that due to downed utility poles and wires in the Palmetto Road Devonshire area, traffic diversions are in place.
In addition, travel is not recommended along Dutton Avenue, Pembroke at this time.
Motorists are asked to avoid these areas if possible until the situation can be rectified.
Traffic Diversion Due to Downed Power Line [Updated]

Traffic is currently being diverted from the Middle Road, Montpelier Road Devonshire area due to a downed power line. BELCO has been notified; however motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible until the situation can be rectified.
Update: The downed power line in the Middle Road, Montpelier Road Devonshire area reported around 8am Friday, February 7th has since been rectified.
Traffic Diversion Due to Reported Serious Collision [Updated]

Around 3pm Thursday, February 6th first responders were dispatched to a reported serious collision on South Road in Warwick in the vicinity of Marley Beach. Details are limited at this time; however the collision apparently involved a truck and a motorcycle.
