Around 6:10pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Dunscombe Road, Warwick residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 7am and 5:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of cash and jewelry. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

The complainant stated that sometime between 9:45pm and 10:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a metallic blue Sony Vaio laptop computer and a quantity of jewelry. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 1:30am on Saturday, Police attended a reported assault at a Front Street, City of Hamilton establishment. On arrival officers spoke with the victim, a 21 year old Hamilton parish man, who sustained facial injuries in the assault. However he refused to co-operate with Police; refused offers of medical attention and refused to make a formal complaint.

Around 12:20am today, Police received a report of a burglary at a Ducks Puddle Drive, Hamilton parish residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 9:30am and 9:30pm on Thursday, an unknown culprit gained entry into her apartment while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole an I-Pod, an I-Pod docking station, an alarm clock, an X-Box 360 video game system and a Compaq laptop computer.

On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 7am and 7:10pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a grey 19” plasma TV and a white I-Pod Nano. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

On Saturday the 5th January 2008, the U.S. Coast Guard intercepted an American registered private vessel in the waters off the Bahamas. Onboard they found approximately two thousand pounds of cannabis. Law enforcement agencies are satisfied the shipment was destined for Bermuda. |

At 1:30pm on Monday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of Somerset Road and Hook & Ladder Lane in Sandys parish involving a car and a motorcycle. It appears that the motorcycle was traveling west on Somerset Road and the car was traveling along Hook & Ladder Lane when the vehicles collided at the junction.
