At approximately 10:52pm Saturday 21st May 2016, first responders attended a report of a serious road traffic collision located at the top of Collectors Hill, Smith's Parish involving three vehicles (2 motor bikes & 1 motor car).
As a result a 17 year old Sandys male who was riding an auxiliary cycle was taken to the hospital where he later was pronounced dead. No further information will be given until the next of kin has been notified.
At 1045pm Saturday night (May 21st, 2016), police attended a report of a firearms incident that took place at Crossland Lane in Pembroke.
Early information indicates that a 27 year old Pembroke man was shot and subsequently transported by private vehicle to the hospital.
The scene has been cordoned off and a full investigation into the incident is now underway.
Sergeant Jason Smith of the Serious Crime Unit - "On Thursday the 19th May, 2016, the BPS received a missing person report that Jevon Daniels 35yrs of age
has not been seen since Monday 16th May, 2016. The circumstances surrounding his disappearance are sketchy at present, however, initial police investigations conducted so far indicate that there is a real concern that he could be in danger and there is cause for concern of his well-being. Several family members and associates of Jevon Daniels have been interviewed and they too are concerned about his well-being.
At 5:15pm on Friday police attended a report of an armed robbery that took place at the entrance to the former Pink Beach Hotel in Smith's.
It appears that a construction site manager was turning into the property when two males on a motorcycle stopped him in his car and pointed what appeared to be a firearm and made demands of cash.
The victim stated that he had no cash resulting in one of the suspects snatching his chain. Both males then made good their escape on a motorcycle.

At 1:30am police and first responders attended a report of a road traffic collision that took place on South Road in Southampton. Details at this point are unclear but it appears that a truck and a motorcycle collided and as a result the 35-year-old rider of the motorcycle was taken to the hospital where he is being treated for serious head injuries and leg injures.
As of this morning the the 35 year old Paget man is in the ICU in stable condition.
At 12:13am police and first responders received a report of a single vehicle road traffic collision that took place on North Shore Road in Smith's involving a 39 year old Pembroke man on a motorcycle.
Details are sketchy at this stage but it appears that the cycle struck the Flatts Bridge and the rider may have been catapulted into the water.
Presently, officers from Marine Section as well as private vessels have commenced a search in the area and the relevant officers from the BPS are processing the scene.
At 4:27pm police executed a firearms warrant at two residences just off of Main Road in Sandys.
As a result the area surrounding the two dwellings (Hook and Ladder Lane and Gilbert Lane) were cordoned off whilst the operation took place. The roads are now open and the scene is still being processed.

At 9:07pm (Saturday) police and first responders attended a report of a two vehicle collision that took place on Middle Road in the area of Store Hill.
It appears that a woman was traveling east in her car on Middle Road when she lost control of her vehicle and collided with a woman in a car traveling in the opposite direction. This resulted in one of the women being pinned in her car, with the Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service being called to extricate the woman out of her vehicle.
