Police Week 2013! October 5th - 12th
A week long series of events celebrating 134 years of service to Bermuda.
Come & celebrate with us! This year’s theme - "Building Community Confidence Through Engagement."
- Saturday, 5th October Gymkhana at Police Field from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Sunday, 6th October Inter Faith Service at Cedarbridge Academy Cafeteria from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
- Monday, 7th October Awards Ceremony at Cedarbridge Academy Cafeteria at 5:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, 8th October Police Displays, Police Field from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. and Seniors Tea, Devonshire Recreation Club at 12:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, 9th October Commissioner for a Day, Police Headquarters from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Open House at Hamilton, Somerset and Southside police stations. Beat the Retreat to be held on Front Street, City of Hamilton at 8:00 p.m.
- Thursday, 10th October Memorial Ceremony (which commemorates those who lost their lives whilst serving the Bermuda Police Service) 11:00 a.m. at the Military Cemetery. Retiree & Long Service Awards 5:00 p.m. at Ruth Seaton James Auditorium followed by a BBQ in the CedarBridge Academy Cafeteria for ex, former & retired officers.
- Friday, 11th October Sports Day at Police Field starting at 9:00 a.m. and social at Prospect Police Recreation Club from 6:00 p.m.
- Saturday, 12th October Police Ball, Fairmont Hamilton Princess. Lower Terrace for cocktails and the Harbour View Ballroom for dinner.

Official opening of Hamilton Police Station at 10:00 a.m. & Open House at the police stations and Marine Unit; Memorial Ceremony (which commemorates those who lost their lives whilst serving the Bermuda Police Service) 4:00 p.m. at the Military Cemetery followed by a BBQ at the Prospect Police Recreation Club for retired officers.

Police Gymkhana, Police Field, Prospect; 10am - 5pm. A fun filled day of bicycle events for primary & middle school students! All riders must wear a helmet and are encouraged to bring their own bicycle. Questions? Contact Sergeant Clifford Roberts on 717-0590 or by e-mail.
- Sunday, October 3rd
Inter-faith Church Service, Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity, 10am start. Refreshments will follow in the hall immediately following the service.

Police Awards at Cedarbridge Cafeteria, 4pm start.
- Tuesday, October 5th
Police Displays at Police Field, Prospect - 11am start.
- Wednesday, October 6th
Commissioner for a Day, Police Headquarters, Prospect - 9am to 2pm. For more information click on the form for the creative artwork & essay competition shown.
- Wednesday, October 6th
Beat the Retreat – Kings Square St. George's, 8pm start. Followed by refreshments and a social at the St. George’s Police Recreation Club at 9:30pm.
- Thursday, October 7th
Sports Day, Police Field - 9:30am start. BBQ at Prospect Police Recreation Club, 5pm start; Sports Day Awards at Prospect Police Recreation Club, 6pm start. 
- Friday, October 8th
Ex/Former Police Officers Memorial & Social. Memorial will commence at 4pm at the Police Cemetery on Alexandra Road in Devonshire followed by the social at 5pm at Prospect Police Recreation Club.
- Saturday, October 9th

Police Awards at Cedarbridge Cafeteria; 5pm start.
- Tuesday, October 6th
Police Displays at Police Field, Prospect; 11am Seniors Tea, 12 noon start.
- Wednesday, October 7th
Commissioner for a Day – Police Headquarters, Prospect; 9am to 2pm.
- Wednesday, October 7th
Beat the Retreat – Kings Square, St. George’s; 9pm start.
