Damage Only RTC

Around 4:55 this morning, Police attended a reported single vehicle damage only road traffic collision on Harrington Sound Road in Smith's parish, near the junction with Odyssey Drive. It appears that the car was traveling west on Harrington Sound Road when the driver lost control attempting to negotiate a sharp left hand bend and collided with a wall. As a result the car, a grey MG Rover, received extensive front end damage. When officers arrived at the scene, the vehicle was unoccupied and it is unknown what injuries, if any, were sustained by the driver or other occupants of the car. An initial search of the area failed to locate the individuals involved. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Breaking & Entering

Around 6:30pm on Saturday, Police received a report of a breaking and entering at a Keith Hall Road, Warwick residence. Officers attended the residence and spoke with the complainants, who are visitors to the island. They stated that sometime between 1am and 8:30am that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into the home. The culprit stole $70 in cash and personal items. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
