Investigation into the Murder of Marcus Gibbings

The Bermuda Police Service is investigating the murder of 32 year old Marcus Gibbings, a Trinidadian national and guest worker in Bermuda for the past 9 years. We are now satisfied that Mr. Gibbings died as a result of a fatal wound inflicted upon him by a bladed weapon. 

The investigation is being led by Acting Detective Inspector Robert Cardwell with the assistance of Detective Sergeant Terry Maxwell and 15 detectives who have been attached to the Serious Crime Unit. Other Bermuda Police Service Support Divisions are assisting the investigation including the Intelligence Division, Operational Policing Division and Operational Support Division.

We are interested in speaking with anyone who saw or spoke with Marcus Gibbings between 8pm Wednesday, 25th October, 2006 and 12 noon Thursday, 26th October, 2006.
