At 8:55am today, Police received a report of an industrial accident at a construction site in the Green Acres Road/Devon Spring Road, Devonshire area. It appears that a cement truck was reversing into the construction site when the vehicle rolled over a pit, causing the truck to overturn. The driver of the cement truck, a 31 year old St. George’s man, was apparently able to climb out of the vehicle and only sustained tenderness to his left knee. Paramedics arrived on scene shortly afterwards and assessed the St. George’s man on site. The Government Health & Safety Officer was also notified of this incident.
