Injury RTC

Around 8:15pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of Middle Road and Ord Road in Warwick involving a car and a motorcycle. It appears that the motorcycle was traveling west on Middle Road and the car was traveling in the opposite direction when they collided at the junction, as the car attempted to make a right turn on to Ord Road. As a result the rider of the motorcycle, a 43 year old Warwick man, sustained cuts and abrasions to his head and legs. The driver of the car, a 48 year old Warwick woman, was not injured. The car received moderate front end damage while the motorcycle was extensively damaged. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Breaking & Entering

At 11:50am on Thursday, Police attended a reported breaking and entering at a Rocky Lane, Hamilton parish residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated around 11am that day he discovered that an unknown culprit had gained entry into his storage shed. The culprit stole a David White surveying instrument in a bright orange case, a black DeWalt cordless drill and a Black & Decker jig saw. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
