Around 1:35 this morning, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on Crow Lane in Paget near the junction with Corkscrew Hill. It appears that a motorcycle was traveling south on Crow Lane when the rider, a 29 year old Warwick man, lost control and collided with a traffic light on the left side of the road. The Warwick man was taken to KEMH for treatment of abrasions to his arms, legs and lower back and released. He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving, taken to Hamilton Police Station and detained after failing the alco-analyser test. The cycle and the traffic light were extensively damaged. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
