Burglary - At 7:35pm on Sunday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Church Street, Pembroke business. It appears that sometime earlier an unknown culprit gained entry into the shoe store and stole a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 10:35am on Sunday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Euclid Avenue, Pembroke residence. It appears that sometime between 7pm on Saturday and 6:15am on Sunday, an unknown culprit gained entry into the home. The culprit stole a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 9:50am on Sunday, Police received a report of a burglary at an Uppington Crescent, Pembroke residence. It appears that around 1am that day an occupant of the home was awoken by an intruder. The burglar fled the scene on foot when confronted. A quantity of cash was taken. No one was injured. The suspect is described as a light skinned male of small build, approximately 5’ to 5’5” tall wearing a white T-shirt and black long pants. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Advisory - Burglaries

The Bermuda Police Service continues to advise the public to remain vigilant regarding burglaries by making sure windows and doors are locked before leaving their homes unattended, even for short periods of time. Residents are encouraged to report any suspicious activities or individuals in their neighbourhoods to Police on 295-0011.

Weekend Activity

Over the weekend there were 4 people arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and 7 reported burglaries. There were also 10 reported damage only road traffic collisions, 5 reported road traffic collisions resulting in injury and 4 vehicles reported taken without their owners’ consent.
