Damage Only RTC - At 12:20am on Friday, Police attended a reported single vehicle damage only road traffic collision on North Shore Road in Smith’s parish near the junction with Jennings Road. It appears that a car was traveling along North Shore Road when the driver, a 26 year old St. George’s man, lost control. As a result the vehicle went off the road. The driver was not injured; however the car was extensively damaged. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Burglary

Around 11:05pm on Thursday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Princeton Lane, Warwick residence. It appears that sometime between 6:30pm and 11pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into the home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole an I-Pod Touch as well as a quantity of cash and jewelry. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 6:35pm on Thursday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Lolly’s Well Road, Smith’s parish residence. It appears that sometime between 8:30am and 6:20pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into the home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole two watches and a quantity of loose change. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 6:30pm on Thursday, Police received a report of a burglary at a South Road, Paget residence. It appears that sometime between 8:30am and 6:15pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into the home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of loose change. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 5:30pm on Thursday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Skyline Road, Smith’s parish residence. It appears that sometime between 2:30pm and 5:25pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into the home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of cash, electronic items and jewelry. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

The Bermuda Police Service continues to advise the public to remain vigilant regarding burglaries by reporting any suspicious activities or individuals in their neighbourhoods to Police on 295-0011.

Injury RTC

At 12:15pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Quarry Road in Hamilton parish near the junction with Harrington Sound Road involving two trucks. It appears that both vehicles were traveling along Quarry Road when they collided. The driver of one of trucks, a 52 year old Sandys parish man, reported having chest pains and was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. The other truck driver, a 41 year old St. George’s man, was unhurt. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
