Injury RTC - Around 4:10pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on Rural Drive in Paget. It appears that an unattended truck parked in the area rolled downhill into a house. The truck driver, a 29 year old Sandys parish man, received a minor leg injury after returning to the vehicle and attempting to stop it rolling downhill. The truck was damaged as well as the Rural Drive property. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Burglary

Around 8:15pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Pitts Bay Road, Pembroke residence. It appears that sometime around 8pm that day an unknown culprit gained entry into the home while the occupant was in another part of the house. The culprit stole a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 5:15pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Middle Terrace, Pembroke residence. It appears that sometime between 9:15am and 5:15pm that day an unknown culprit gained entry into the home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Advisory

The Bermuda Police Service continues to advise the public to remain vigilant regarding burglaries. All residents should make sure windows and doors are locked before leaving their homes unattended, even for short periods of time. The public is encouraged to report any suspicious activities or individuals in their neighbourhoods to Police on 295-0011.
