Witness Appeal: Confirmed Firearm Incident on Parsons Road - All three men arrested in connection with the confirmed firearm incident on Parsons Road in Pembroke that occurred around 10:30am on Monday, October 4th have been released on Police bail while the Serious Crime Unit progresses its investigation into this brazen shooting. Forensic evidence is being processed and interviews with witnesses are still being conducted. A few members of the public have already come forward to assist; however, we continue to urge anyone that saw, heard, or may know anything about this crime to make contact with the Serious Crime Unit on 299-8106 or the independent confidential Crime Stoppers Bermuda hotline on 800-8477.

Witness Appeal – Fatal RTC

The investigation into the fatal road traffic collision that claimed the life of 22 year old Adam Goodwin is ongoing. Police are continuing to appeal for any witnesses to the incident that occurred around 4:10am on Sunday, October 3rd on South Road in Smith’s parish near the junction with St. Mark’s Road. In particular, investigators are interested in speaking with anyone who may have witnessed the collision or anyone who may know of Mr. Goodwin’s whereabouts prior to the collision. Arrest

At 6:45pm on Wednesday, Police responded to a report of an unruly passenger onboard a British Airways aircraft. After the plane landed at L. F. Wade International Airport the suspected passenger, a 43 year old man who is a French national, was arrested as a result. A court appearance is anticipated in due course.

Burglary

There were two burglaries in the Spring Hill, Warwick area during the day on Wednesday. In both incidents quantities of jewelry were taken. A 17 year old Paget man has been arrested in connection with both burglaries. Inquiries into these incidents are ongoing.

Advisory

The Bermuda Police Service continues to advise the public to remain vigilant regarding burglaries. All residents should make sure windows and doors are locked before leaving their homes unattended, even for short periods of time. The public is encouraged to report any suspicious activities or individuals in their neighbourhoods to Police on 295-0011.
