Injury RTC - Around 8:55pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Pomander Road in Paget near the junction with Harbour Road involving a car and a motorcycle. It appears that the car was parked on Pomander Road and the motorcycle was traveling along Pomander Road when the rider, a 25 year old Pembroke man, lost control and collided with the parked car. The Pembroke man sustained head & facial injuries and was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. At last check he was in stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit. The motorcycle received damage to multiple areas while the car received moderate damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 6:50pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Parsons Road in Pembroke near the junction with Border Lane South involving an auxiliary cycle and a motorcycle. It appears that the auxiliary cycle and the motorcycle were traveling in opposite directions on Parsons Road when they collided. The rider of the auxiliary cycle, a 19 year old Pembroke man, sustained head injuries. The rider of the motorcycle, an 18 year old St. George’s man, sustained facial injuries. Both men were taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 6:45pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of Middle Road and Chaingate Hill in Devonshire. It appears that a motorcycle was traveling west on Middle Road when the rider, a 47 year old Pembroke man, lost control at the junction. As a result the rider collided with a wall. He sustained facial injuries and was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. He was subsequently released. The motorcycle received damage to multiple areas.

Around 6:30pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Spice Hill Road in Warwick near the junction with Warwickshire Drive involving an auxiliary cycle and a motorcycle. It appears that the auxiliary cycle and the motorcycle were traveling in opposite directions on Spice Hill Road when they collided. The rider of the auxiliary cycle, a 17 year old Warwick man, sustained head injuries. The rider of the motorcycle, a 21 year old Warwick man, sustained serious head injuries. Both men were taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. The teenager was subsequently released. Both vehicles received front end damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
