Damage Only RTC - At 5:10pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported single vehicle damage only road traffic collision on Harrington Sound Road in Smith’s parish. It appears that a truck was traveling west on Harrington Sound Road when it collided with the Manor House Bridge. As a result both the bridge and truck were damaged; however the truck driver, a 51 year old Warwick man, was not injured. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Removed Vehicle

Around 8:30am on Tuesday, Police received a report of a removed vehicle. The complainant stated that sometime between 10pm on Monday and 8am on Tuesday an unknown culprit removed her car, a red Toyota Yaris license #00682, from Jennings Bay Road in Southampton. Police are appealing for anyone with any information on the whereabouts of a red Toyota Yaris car, license #00682, to contact the Roads Policing Unit on 295-0011.

Burglary

Around 9pm on Monday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Cut Road, St. George’s residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 11:30am and 8:20pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into the home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a Sony 50” flat screen TV. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Appeal for Owner of Sailing Vessel

The Bermuda Police Service Marine Unit is appealing for any information regarding the owner of a 21’ blue & white sailing vessel. This vessel is currently on a mooring at Hospital Crawl in Sandys parish and shows no name, registration numbers or decal. The owner or anyone with any information on the identity of the owner is encouraged to contact PC Sean Wheatley or PC Joseph McRonald at 299-4585.
