Injury RTC - Around 9am today, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on North Shore Road in Devonshire near the junction with Loyal Hill Pass involving a pedestrian and a motorcycle. It appears that the pedestrian, a 32 year old St. George’s woman, had exited a bus in the area. As she attempted to cross the road, a motorcycle traveling east on North Shore Road collided with her. The pedestrian apparently sustained minor injuries and was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. The rider of the motorcycle, a 49 year old Devonshire man, sustained cuts to his left leg & left arm. He was treated by EMTs at the scene and declined further medical treatment at the hospital. The motorcycle received minor front end damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Burglary

Around 4:15pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Cameron Close, Smith’s parish residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 7:30am and 3:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into the home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of cash and jewelry. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 3:35pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Town Hill Road, Smith’s parish residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 10:10am and 3:10pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into the home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of cash and electronic items as well as a wedding ring. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
