Burglary - Around 12:45pm on Friday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Bow Lane, Southampton residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 8:30am and 12:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into the home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a PlayStation 3 video game system and a Dell laptop computer. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Weekend Activity

Over the weekend there were 4 people arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and 2 reported burglaries. There were also 10 reported damage only road traffic collisions, 7 reported road traffic collisions resulting in injury and 2 vehicles reported taken without their owners’ consent.

Media Note

The Bermuda Police Service will be holding a press conference today at 4pm in the Police Media Relations office, Police Headquarters Prospect Devonshire regarding the fatal shooting outside Woody’s Restaurant. In attendance will be Assistant Commissioner of Police Paul Wright and Detective Chief Inspector Nicholas Pedro, Officer in Charge of the Serious Crime Unit.
