Fatal RTC - The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 28 year old Katrina Flood of Pembroke. It appears that around 3:30am Saturday June 5th she was riding a motorcycle traveling east on Crow Lane in Paget near the junction with Corkscrew Hill when she lost control. As a result Ms. Flood sustained serious head and internal injuries. She was pronounced dead at 12:30am Saturday June 12th by an on call physician at the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital. The Bermuda Police Service extends condolences to the family & friends of Ms. Flood. Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses or anyone with any information about this collision to contact PC Carol Skerritt on 295-0011.

The death of Katrina Flood marks the 7th road fatality for 2010.

Damage Only RTC

Around 3:30am on Saturday, Police attended a reported single vehicle damage only road traffic collision on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish near the junction with East Point Lane. It appears that a car was traveling west on North Shore Road when the driver, a 29 year old Hamilton parish man, lost control. As a result the vehicle overturned and struck a tree. The driver & sole occupant was not injured; however the car was extensively damaged.
