Man Arrested in Connection with Martin Murder

Police have arrested a man in connection with the murder of 24 year old Dekimo Martin in the early hours of Friday, May 28th in Sandys parish. No further information will be released at this time regarding the arrest.

The investigating team is continuing to appeal for witnesses; in particular any area residents or anyone that was in the vicinity of Woodlawn Road, Butterfield Lane, & Peacock Crescent - that may have seen or heard anything related to this incident – however irrelevant it may seem. They encourage anyone with information to come forward. Information received will be treated in the strictest confidence.

The Bermuda Police Service is asking anyone with any information regarding the murder of Dekimo Martin or any other firearms incidents to contact Chief Inspector Nicholas Pedro at the Serious Crime Unit on telephone number 299-8106 or 299-8115.
