Around 12:20pm today, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on St. David's Road in St. George's near the junction with Stocks Road. It appears that a car was traveling along St. David's Road when the driver, a 19 year old Sandy's parish man, lost control attempting to negotiate a sharp right hand bend, causing the vehicle to strike the sidewalk and overturn. The Sandy's parish man sustained a severed finger and was taken to KEMH for treatment. The car was extensively damaged. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
