Update: Injury RTC - At 8:25pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of a serious road traffic collision resulting in injury on Middle Road in Devonshire near the junction with Parsons Lane involving a motorcycle and a truck. It appears that the vehicles were traveling in opposite directions on Middle Road when they collided. The rider of the motorcycle, a 30 year old Paget woman, sustained serious head and chest injuries. She was rushed to KEMH via ambulance where she is currently in the Intensive Care Unit in critical condition. The truck driver, a 57 year old St. George’s man, was not injured. The motorcycle was extensively damaged while the truck received moderate front end damage. Traffic was diverted away from the scene for approximately two hours. Inquiries into this incident are underway and Police are continuing to appeal for any witnesses to this collision to contact PC Linnell Williams on 295-0011.

Around 10:20pm on Monday, Police received a report of a serious road traffic collision resulting in injury on Trimingham Road in Paget involving a truck and a motorcycle. It appears that the vehicles were traveling in opposite directions when they collided. As a result the motorcycle rider, a 30 year old Devonshire man sustained serious head injuries as well as a broken right leg. He was rushed to KEMH via ambulance for treatment and was in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit before being flown overseas on Tuesday for further medical treatment at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston USA. The truck driver, a 40 year old Pembroke man, was not injured. The motorcycle was extensively damaged while the truck received moderate front end damage. Inquiries into this incident are ongoing and Police are continuing to appeal for any witnesses to this collision to contact PC Oswin Pereira on 295-0011.
