Arrests - Around 2:15pm on Thursday, Police executed a search warrant at a Princess Street, Pembroke residence. As a result, a 39 year old Pembroke woman, a 23 year old Pembroke man and an 18 year old Pembroke man were arrested for offences under the Misuse of Drugs Act. A court appearance is anticipated in due course.

Injury RTC

At 5:30pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of Langton Hill and Ocean Lane in Pembroke involving a motorcycle and a car. It appears that the motorcycle was traveling north on Langton Hill and the car was exiting Ocean Lane when the collision occurred. The rider of the motorcycle, a 28 year old Devonshire man, sustained injuries to his left leg and both hands, as well as his back, neck and head. He was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment and at last check was in stable condition. The driver of the car, a 74 year old Pembroke woman, was not injured. The motorcycle received moderate damage while the car received minor front end damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Burglary

Around 3:30am today (Friday), Police received a report of a burglary at a Cheriton Lane, Pembroke residence. The complainant stated that he was watching TV when an unknown man gained entry into his home. The complainant confronted the intruder and chased him out of the residence. The culprit made good his escape empty handed. The complainant was not injured. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 2:45am today (Friday), Police received a report of a burglary at a Hidden Lane, Pembroke residence. The complainants stated that they were awoken by a noise and found an unknown man inside their home. The complainants confronted the intruder and he made good his escape empty handed. The complainants were not injured. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 11:15pm on Thursday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Woodbourne Crescent, Pembroke residence. The complainant stated that he returned home around 11pm that day to find an unknown man on his porch apparently attempting to enter his home. He confronted the man who made good his escape on foot empty handed. The complainant was not injured. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
