Advisory - Burglaries

The Bermuda Police Service continues to advise the public to remain vigilant regarding burglaries. We are reminding all residents to keep their valuables locked away & out of sight, ideally in a safe. In addition, the serial numbers of all ‘big ticket’ items (such as jewelry & electronics) should be written down and secured in a safe or separate secure location; in the event any of these items are stolen and later recovered, the information can be used to identify them. Finally, residents should make sure all windows and doors are locked before leaving their homes unattended, even for short periods of time. The public is encouraged to report any suspicious activities or individuals in their neighbourhoods to Police on 295-0011.

Around 7pm on Monday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Middle Road in Warwick near the junction with Morgan Road (in the vicinity of Lindo’s Family Foods). It appears that a motorcycle was traveling west on Middle Road when it collided with the rear of a taxi. As a result the rider of the motorcycle, a 24 year old Southampton man, sustained a laceration to his head and facial injuries. He was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment.
