Damage Only RTC - At 3:30am on Saturday, Police attended a reported single vehicle damage only road traffic collision on Harrington SoundHarrington Sound Road in Smith’s parish near Harrington Sound Post Office. It appears that a car was traveling west on Road when the driver, a 24 year old Devonshire man, lost control. As a result the vehicle collided with an embankment causing it to overturn. The driver was not injured; however the car was extensively damaged.

At 2:45am on Saturday, Police attended a reported single vehicle damage only road traffic collision at the junction of North Shore Road and Barkers Hill in Devonshire. It appears that a car was traveling west on North Shore Road when the driver, a 51 year old Pembroke woman, lost control. As a result the vehicle collided with a traffic island causing it to overturn. The driver was not injured; however the car was extensively damaged.

Damage Only RTC/Impaired Driving

Around 1:40pm on Friday, Police attended a reported single vehicle damage only road traffic collision on Mullet Bay Road in St. George’s. It appears that a car was traveling through the area when the driver, a 39 year old Warwick man, lost control. As a result the vehicle collided with a utility pole. The driver was not injured; however the car received extensive front end damage and the utility pole was broken at its base. The Warwick man was subsequently located by officers and arrested on suspicion of impaired driving after driving away from the scene of the collision. The damaged utility pole was addressed by the relevant agencies. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
