Injury RTC - At 12 noon on Tuesday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Harbour Road in Paget near the junction with Manse Road involving a car and a motorcycle. It appears that the motorcycle was traveling east on Harbour Road and the car was traveling in the opposite direction when the vehicles collided as traffic attempted to negotiate a stationary truck in the eastbound lane which was delivering material to a roadside construction site in the area. As a result the rider of the motorcycle, a 21 year old Paget man, sustained a broken right leg. He was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. The driver of the car, a 37 year old Smith’s parish woman, was not injured. The motorcycle was extensively damaged while the car received front end damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Burglary

Around 2:30pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a North Shore Road, Hamilton parish residence. The complainants stated that sometime between 7:30am and 3pm on Monday, an unknown culprit gained entry into their home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
