Injury RTC/Impaired Driving - Around 11:45pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on North Shore Road in Devonshire near the junction with Barkers Hill. EMTs from the Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service also attended the scene. Details about how the collision occurred are unclear; however it appears that the victim, a 47 year old St. George’s man, was riding a motorcycle at the time. The St. George’s man sustained serious facial injuries and was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. Inquiries into this incident are underway. Police are appealing for any witnesses to this collision or anyone with any information to contact PC Preston Gill on 295-0011.
