Assault

At 11pm on Saturday, Police attended a reported assault on Glebe Road in Pembroke near the junction with St. Monica’s Road. The Bermuda Fire Service and paramedics from KEMH also attended the scene. Details about the incident remain unclear; however the victim, a 45 year old Pembroke man, was found by two passing motorists lying in the road in an unresponsive state. He was then taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment of head and facial wounds, as well as a suspected serious concussion. The Pembroke man was subsequently admitted to the Intensive Care Unit for observations; however, his injuries are not believed to be life threatening. Four men have been arrested in connection with this incident. Inquiries are underway. Removed Vehicle

Around 11:55pm on Saturday, Police received a report of a removed vehicle. The complainant stated that sometime between 6:30pm and 9:30pm on Saturday, an unknown culprit stole her silver Hyundai Tucson station wagon license #41631 which was parked at the junction of Harbour Road and Manse Road in Paget. Police are appealing for anyone with any information on the whereabouts of this vehicle to contact the Vehicle Crime Unit on 299-4316 or the main Police number, 295-0011.
