Witness Appeal - Shooting in Sandys parish

Police continue to appeal for witnesses to the shooting that occurred around 2:15am Saturday in the Kitchener Close, Sandys parish area. As a result the victim, a 23 year old Sandys parish man, received gun shot wounds to his body. He is currently in stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit at KEMH.

An investigation into the matter is ongoing by officers from the Serious Crime Unit under the direction of Chief Inspector Nick Pedro and a 31 year old Sandys parish man has been arrested in connection with the incident.

Anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the Kitchener Close, Sandys parish area during the early morning hours of Saturday February 13th or anyone with any information is encouraged to contact the Serious Crime Unit on 299-8115; information provided to the Police will be treated in confidence.
