Burglary - Around 1:05am today, Police received a report of a burglary at Smatt’s Livery Cycle Ltd. in Southampton (Fairmont Southampton Resort). It appears that sometime Wednesday evening an unknown culprit gained entry into the premises. The culprit stole a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 12:30pm on Wednesday, Police received a report of a burglary at an Anchorage Lane, St. George’s residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 7:40am and 8:10am that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home. The culprit stole a black HP laptop computer. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 9:50am on Wednesday, Police received a report of a burglary at the Southampton Seventh Day Adventist Church. It appears that sometime overnight an unknown culprit gained entry into the church. The culprit stole a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 8:10am on Wednesday, Police received a report of a burglary at J&M Trucking & Auto Service in Pembroke. The complainant stated that sometime overnight an unknown culprit gained entry into the premises and stole a quantity of electronic equipment. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Advisory

The Bermuda Police Service continues to advise the public to remain vigilant regarding burglaries. All residents should make sure windows and doors are locked before leaving their homes unattended, even for short periods of time. The public is encouraged to report any suspicious activities or individuals in their neighbourhoods to Police on 295-0011.

Missing Juvenile – Troylene Anderson

The Bermuda Police Service continues to appeal for the public’s assistance in locating 17 year old Troylene Anderson. The teenager was last seen on Tuesday, January 26th 2010. She is described as 5’5” tall weighing approximately 186 pounds with short curly reddish brown hair and is known to frequent the St. Monica’s Road, Pembroke area. Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of 17 year old Troylene Anderson is encouraged to contact the Vulnerable Persons Unit on 295-0011.
