Injury RTC - At 3:55am today, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on South Road in Paget near the junction with St. Paul’s Lane. It appears that a SUV was traveling west on South Road when the driver, a 45 year old Southampton man, lost control and collided with a roadside barrier before the vehicle reportedly went over an embankment. The Southampton man was not injured; however his rear seat passenger, a 27 year old Hamilton parish woman, apparently sustained abrasions to her knees. The SUV was extensively damaged. A section of the roadside barrier was also extensively damaged. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Burglary
At 5:45pm on Thursday, Police received a report of a burglary at an Anchorage Road, St. George’s residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 8:10am and 4:25pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a black Toshiba laptop computer. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
