Missing Person - The Bermuda Police Service is appealing for the public’s assistance in locating 54 year old George Bossert (pictured right). A missing person report was received on Tuesday, December 15th 2009; however Mr. Bossert, a French national, was last seen in August 2009. He is reportedly a well known chef and butcher, previously working at local restaurants. Mr. Bossert last resided at the Salvation Army Shelter on Parsons Road in Pembroke and the Emergency Housing complex in St. David’s. He is described as a white male, around 5’7” tall of large build with blue eyes; he wears glasses, has grey hair and was last seen clean shaven. Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of 54 year old French national Mr. George Bossert is urged to contact the Vulnerable Persons Unit on 295-0011.

Injury RTC

At 9:25pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on Parsons Lane in Devonshire. It appears that a motorcycle was traveling south on Parsons Lane when the rider, a 56 year old Hamilton parish man, lost control and collided with a tree. The Hamilton parish man sustained a fractured shoulder and a laceration to his leg. He was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. The motorcycle received front end damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Burglary

Around 12:45pm on Wednesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Second Avenue, Pembroke residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 11am and 12 noon that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole two black HP laptop computers, two HTC cellular phones, a black Apple I-Pod, a watch and a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
