Burglary - Around 7:50pm on Sunday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Cedar Hill, Warwick residence. The complainant stated that she was downstairs watching TV when she heard noises in an upstairs room. When she went to investigate, she discovered an unknown man inside the premises. On being seen, the intruder made good his escape on foot. The suspect is described as wearing a red sweat top and a grey hat. It does not appear that anything was taken. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

The Bermuda Police Service is holding a press conference at 1:45pm today in the Police Media Relations office, Police Headquarters Prospect Devonshire regarding the recent shooting outside Southside Cinema. All media are encouraged to attend.

Weekend Activity

Over the weekend there were 7 people arrested on suspicion of impaired driving; two of the individuals arrested were over three times the legal limit while two others were over twice the legal limit. There were also 6 reported burglaries, 9 reported damage only road traffic collisions, 1 reported road traffic collision resulting in injury and 6 vehicles reported taken without their owners’ consent.
