Shooting in St. David’s

Around 11:30pm Friday, Police responded to a report of gunshots outside of Southside Cinema in St. George’s. As a result, a 26 year old Pembroke man and a 24 year old Warwick woman are being treated at KEMH for gunshot wounds.
Police have arrested a 28 year old Pembroke man and an 18 year old Devonshire man in connection with this matter. Police have also seized a firearm which may have been used in the incident.
Inquiries into this incident are underway. Police are appealing for any witnesses to this incident or anyone with any information to contact Acting Chief Inspector Michael Redfern at the Serious Crime Unit on 295-0011. We are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who may have been in the Southside area around 11:30pm Friday and saw anyone acting suspiciously.
