Damage Only RTC/Impaired Driving - Around 3:40am on Wednesday, Police attended a reported single vehicle damage only road traffic collision on Pitts Bay Road in Pembroke. It appears that a car was traveling north on Pitts Bay Road when the driver, a 25 year old Pembroke woman lost control and collided with a wall, causing the vehicle to overturn. The driver was not injured; her two passengers, a 19 year old Pembroke woman and a 21 year old St. George’s woman were also apparently uninjured, both declining medical attention. The driver was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. The car was extensively damaged. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Damage Only RTC

Around 11pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported single vehicle damage only road traffic collision on St. David’s Road in St. George’s, near the junction with Bay Estates Road. It appears that a car was traveling north on St. David’s Road when the driver, a 20 year old Sandys parish woman, lost control and collided with a utility pole. The driver was not injured; however, the car received extensive front end damage.

Around 6:30pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported single vehicle damage only road traffic collision on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish near the junction with East Point Lane. It appears that a car was traveling east on North Shore Road when the driver, a 43 year old Hamilton parish woman lost control and collided with the sidewalk, causing the car to overturn and end up on its roof. The driver was not injured; however the vehicle was extensively damaged.

Burglary

Around 6:30pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Town Hill Road, Smith’s parish residence. The complainants stated that sometime between 8:40am and 5:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into their home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of jewelry. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
