Injury RTC - Around 8:20am on Wednesday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Mullet Bay Road in St. George’s near the junction with Wellington Street involving a car and a mini bus. It appears that the car was traveling west on Mullet Bay Road and the mini bus was traveling in the opposite direction when the vehicles collided. The driver of the car, a 33 year old St. George’s woman, complained of pain to her back while her passengers, an 11 year old St. George’s girl and a 3 year old St. George’s girl complained of pain to their neck, lower back and neck respectively. The St. George’s woman and her daughters attended KEMH for evaluation. The mother was diagnosed with whiplash; however her daughters did not suffer any serious injury. The driver of the mini bus, a 60 year old St. George’s man, was apparently not injured. The car received extensive front end damage while the mini bus received moderate front end damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Burglary

Around 4:40pm on Wednesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Stovell Bay Road, Pembroke residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 7:30am and 4:10pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of jewelry and a 42” Panasonic flat screen TV. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 6:30pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Barrack Street, St. George’s residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 7:05am and 6:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a black PlayStation 3 videogame system, a HP laptop computer and a black sword with a white & black ‘dragon’ handle. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
