Taxi Jumps - At around 10:30 on Sunday morning a female taxi driver attended Hamilton Police Station to report that a man jumped out of her cab without paying. She also reported that same man stole her handbag from the cab.  It appears that at 9am the same day the female driver picked up a man from Spanish View Road in Smith's parish. He then was transported to Shelton Road, where the passenger stated he had to go to a house to pick someone up. Upon his return he asked the driver, to open up the back of the taxi because he had something to put in the back of the vehicle and whilst the driver got out of the cab the man made good his escape.

Meantime, at about 11am on Sunday, another taxi driver attended Hamilton Police Station, to report someone jumping out of his cab without paying. The complainant states that around 8:45am that same date he picked up 2 males from a residence on Middle Road in Warwick, the passengers asked to be taken to Paget, to pick up someone else. The passengers then went to Fort Hill in Devonshire were two of the passengers left the cab and the remaining man then asked to be taken to Cut Road in St. George's where the man then jumped out of the cab and left the $70 dollar fare unpaid.

Inquiries into both of these incidents are underway and Police are appealing for anyone with any information to contact Police on 295-0011.
