Police Week 2009 – ‘Meet & Greet’ Day

Thu, 2009-10-08

As part of Police Week 2009, the Bermuda Police Service is encouraging the public to stop by and meet some of the Police officers that regularly patrol their area of the island during Friday’s ‘Meet & Greet’ Day.

There are three Community Action Teams (CAT) that patrol the western, central and eastern parishes of the island. The ‘Meet & Greet’ is an opportunity for the public to familiarize themselves with some of the officers in their area, as well as address any concerns they may have about their neighbourhoods. The CAT officers will also have a limited number of Police related giveaways on hand (children’s colouring books, pens etc.).

The Community Action Teams will be at the following locations today:

  • Western CAT – Hitching Post area from 9am – 10:30am
  • Central CAT – City Hall car park area from 11am – 1pm
  • Eastern CAT – Number 1 Gate area from 11am – 1pm
