Arrest & Seizure of Illegal Substance

Around 6am today, Police executed a search warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at a Southampton residence. As a result, a 43 year old Southampton man was arrested on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis (pictured), possession of a controlled drug and possession of drug equipment. In addition, the Police officers were accompanied by the Dog Warden and a pitbull was seized from the residence. This matter is currently under investigation.

This is yet another example of the community taking an active role in assisting the Police and we would like to thank members of the public for giving us the critical information necessary to address this illegal activity.
