Burglary - Around 8:20pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a West Side Road, Sandys parish residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 9:45am and 7:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 7:25pm on Monday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Railway Trail, Sandys parish residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 9am and 4:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of cash and jewelry. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Burglaries are still occurring throughout the island and the Bermuda Police Service is continuing to remind the public to securely lock their homes, including all windows and doors, before leaving their premises unattended for any length of time; as we are aware that in some instances criminals are taking advantage of insecure properties. Residents should report any suspicious individuals or activity in their neighbourhoods to Police on 295-0011.
