Disturbance - Around 3am today, Police received a report of a disturbance on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish near the junction with Crawl Point Lane West . The victim, a 23 year old Hamilton parish man, stated that he did not know what happened or who may have assaulted him. Two men seen acting suspiciously in the area were approached by Police but fled the scene on motorcycles. The Hamilton parish man was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment of facial injuries as well as abrasions to his left arm. At last check he was in stable condition. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Burglary

At 12:45pm on Thursday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Camden North Road, Paget residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 8:30pm and 9:30pm on Wednesday, an unknown culprit gained entry into the home. The culprit stole a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 11:30am on Thursday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Tribe Road, Devonshire residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 10am and 10:30am that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole two Dell laptop computers. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 7:20pm on Wednesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Friswells Lane, Pembroke residence. The complainants stated that sometime between 9:30am and 7:15pm that day, an unknown culprit or culprits gained entry into their home. The culprit(s) stole a quantity of cash, a Nikon D90 camera, and a black Honda Air Blade motorcycle, license #BN 421. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 8am on Wednesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Rebecca Road, Southampton residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 1am and 5am that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home. The culprit stole a HP laptop computer and a digital camera charger. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 7:45am on Wednesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Rose Gardens, Warwick residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 8pm and 8:30pm on Tuesday, an unknown culprit gained entry into the home. The culprit stole a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Advisory

It is evident that burglaries are still occurring throughout the island. The Bermuda Police Service is continuing to remind the public to securely lock their homes, including all windows and doors, before leaving their premises unattended for any length of time; as we are aware that in some instances these burglaries are due to criminals taking advantage of insecure properties. Residents should report any suspicious individuals or activity in their neighbourhoods to Police on 295-0011.
