Damage Only RTC - Around 4:40am today, Police attended a reported single vehicle damage only road traffic collision on Middle Road in Paget near the junction with Manse Road. It appears that a car was traveling west on Middle Road when the driver lost control and collided with a wall. The car was extensively damaged; however the driver left the scene prior to the arrival of Police. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 3:45am today, Police attended a reported single vehicle damage only road traffic collision on Harbour Road in Paget near the junction with Lovers Lane. It appears that a car was traveling west on Harbour Road when the driver lost control and collided with a wooden railing. The car was extensively damaged; however the driver left the scene prior to the arrival of Police. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Burglary

Around 8:20am on Saturday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Crane Lane, Pembroke residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 10pm on Friday and 7:30am on Saturday, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home. The culprit stole a handbag containing personal items as well as the complainant’s car, a beige coloured Mazda 323 hatchback license #19042. Inquiries into this incident are underway. Police are appealing for anyone with any information about this incident or anyone who may know the whereabouts of a beige coloured Mazda 323 hatchback license #19042 to contact the Hamilton Criminal Investigation Unit on 295-0011.

Hurricane Bill Related Incidents

There were no major incidents reported to Police during Hurricane Bill. The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their co-operation and patience during the storm.
