Fatal RTC - The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 33 year old James Quinn of Warwick (Irish national). Around 1:50am on Saturday, Police attended a reported serious single vehicle road traffic collision near the junction of Crow Lane and Corkscrew Hill in Paget. It appears that Mr. Quinn was riding a motorcycle traveling east on Crow Lane when he lost control and collided with a traffic light pole. He sustained serious head injuries and was rushed to KEMH via ambulance where he was pronounced dead at 2:13am by an on call physician. Inquiries into this matter are ongoing. Any witnesses or anyone with any information is encouraged to contact PC Mervin Homer on 295-0011. The Bermuda Police Service extends our sincere condolences to the family & friends of the deceased.

Witness Appeal – Fracas at St. George’s Cricket Club

The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank those members of the public who have already come forward and assisted Police with their investigation into the incident that occurred around 8:30pm Friday at the St. George’s Cricket Club. There are presently four individuals in custody assisting Police with their inquiries; three St. George’s men ages 19, 20 and 26, and a 21 year old Devonshire man. Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses who were standing in the general area around the time of the incident, including persons who were there with young children. Anyone with any information is encouraged to contact the Serious Crime Unit on 295-0011, or the confidential Crime Stoppers hotline on 1-800-623-8477.
