Injury RTC

Around 6:45pm on Thursday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Hermitage Road in Devonshire near the junction with Devon Spring Road involving an auxiliary cycle and a pedestrian. It appears that the auxiliary cycle was traveling north on Hermitage Road when the rider, a 17 year old Smith’s parish man, lost control attempting to negotiate a left hand bend. As a result the auxiliary cycle collided with the pedestrian, a 60 year old Devonshire woman who was walking along the same road, causing both the rider and the pedestrian to fall to the ground.
