Injury RTC - Around 10:30pm on Saturday, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on Middle Road in Southampton near the junction with Church Road. It appears that a motorcycle was traveling west on Middle Road when the rider, a 34 year old Sandy’s parish man, lost control and fell to the ground. The Sandy’s parish man sustained injuries to his left shoulder and left leg. He was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. The motorcycle received minor damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 4:50am on Saturday, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish near the junction with Studio Lane. It appears that a car was traveling west on North Shore Road when the driver, a 29 year old St. George's man, lost control and collided with a wall, causing the vehicle to overturn. The St. George’s man sustained a scratch above his right eye while his front seat passenger, a 29 year old Devonshire man, complained of soreness to his back and neck. Both men declined medical treatment. The car was extensively damaged. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 12:20am on Saturday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Knapton Hill in Smith’s parish. It appears that a motorcycle was traveling west on Knapton Hill and a car was traveling in the opposite direction when the vehicles collided. As a result the rider of the motorcycle, a 24 year old Southampton man, was thrown from the vehicle and landed in a nearby yard. He sustained a fractured right arm and left leg. He was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. The driver of the car, an 18 year old Pembroke man, sustained an injury to his right eye. The motorcycle was extensively damaged while the car received moderate damage to its front end and right side. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
