The Bermuda Police Service can confirm that officers from the Financial Crime Unit arrested a 45 year old woman on Wednesday 1st July 2009 in connection with an active investigation into local investment company Emerald Financial Group. Recognizing that this investigation is likely to generate considerable interest from Emerald Financial Group customers the Bermuda Police Service has consulted with the Registrar of Companies and the Bermuda Monetary Authority and agreed that all such enquiries relating to the company assets should be directed to Charles Thresh of KPMG.
